As a small local charity our work is totally reliant on donations. There are a number of ways that you can support us:
One-off Donations
Some patients or their family members feel they would like to make a one-off donation in recognition of the care they have received.

Leave a gift in your Will
In your Will you can specify that you wish to leave a legacy to the League of Friends of Minehead and West Somerset Hospital and the Community, either as a percentage of your estate or a fixed sum. As we are a charity, such gifts can be exempt from inheritance tax. It is advisable to talk to your solicitor about this when you are preparing your Will.
Donations in Memory
Sometimes people who lose a loved one prefer to request donations to a charity rather than floral tributes. Your funeral director can help you with this.
All contributions are hugely welcome and are put to valuable use. Monies given to the Friends of Minehead and West Somerset Community Hospital are spent for the benefit of the hospital and its patients.
